Namibia’s road network is mostly made up of gravel roads. We offer you a selection of the best 4×4’s perfectly designed for Namibia’s gravel and tar roads. They are convenient for driving in the rainy season too. There are different 4x4 vehicles to choose from, depending how you want to travel. What all vehicles have in common is that they are not older than 2,5 years and other benefits:

SUV

An SUV is the type of car that offers more comfort and luxury and also the more affordable one. Its modern interior, automatic gears and higher ground clearance, makes driving this kind of car is very comfortable and perfect for driving on the Namibian gravel roads. 

Standard 4×4 off-road

The standard 4×4 off-road vehicles are technically customized to deal with the rough African roads. The standard equipment consists of a double fuel tank, two spare wheels, a spade, jack, spare parts, toolbox, danger triangle, towing rope, first aid kit and a pressure gauge.

Luxury 4×4 off-road

Additional to the standard equipment of the standard 4×4 off-road vehicle, these vehicles have a few extras: a compressor, snorkel and fridge are included in the standard rental. This type of 4×4 is designed for all African roads and suitable for off-road driving.

Standard 4×4 off-road

Equipped with a double fuel tank, two spare wheels, a spade, jack, spare parts, toolbox, danger triangle, towing rope, first aid kit and a pressure gauge. The camping equipment consists of one or two roof- or ground tents, a fridge, table, chairs, bedding, BBQ grid, pots/ pans, cutlery and kitchen equipment.

4×4 Bushcamper

The Bushcamper is perfect for those who want a little more comfort and luxury during their adventure as the vehicle comes with a fully equipped camper unit. It has the same equipment as the standard 4x4 off-road vehicle, plus some extra additional equipment and comfort. For max 2 travellers.

Luxury 4×4 off-road

In addition to the other equipment mentioned at the other types of vehicles, the luxury 4×4 comes with a few more extras: a higher ground clearance, a stronger engine, a compressor, and a snorkel. This type of 4×4 is designed for all African roads and is suitable for off-road driving.
